# Affiliate & editorial policy.

## How we make money

Some links to bots go through /go/ redirects to affiliate links. If you sign up or buy through one, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Affiliate links are marked rel="sponsored". We currently have affiliate links for: Bitsgap, Coinrule, Cryptohopper, KalshiSpy, TradersPost, TradingView, TrendSpider, WunderTrading. Other bots link to their official site with no commission.

## Rankings are not for sale

Bots never pay for placement, for their score or for a better position in any list or comparison. Whether a bot has an affiliate link plays no part in the formula; affiliate and non-affiliate bots are scored the same way.

## How we score

Every bot is scored 0–10 by one fixed formula, applied the same way to every bot with no editor's adjustments: security record (up to 2), custody (up to 1.5), price value (up to 2), ease of use (up to 1.5), free plan or trial (up to 1), exchange / broker coverage (up to 1.5) and data completeness (up to 0.5). ## Where the data comes from

Prices, plans, exchange lists and safety notes come from each bot's own pages (a few from named third-party listings where the official page couldn't be read). Each field shows its source and the date it was last checked, and we re-check weekly.
